Homecoming is coming up, so get ready for all the fun activities that are in store. Homecoming is filled with excitement and fun activities. The week of fun dressing up occurs. Our theme this year is Road trip. The dress up days are the following : Monday is Texas, Tuesday is Hawaii, Wednesday is California, Thursday is Iowa, and Friday is Spirit Day Green and Black. Remember, the best dressed in the high school gets a prize during the prep rally; dress your best. Then that Friday there will be more fun activities like the Prep rally, where we do many things to get people energized before the game starts including crown the homecoming royalty. The Homecoming royalty includes; Gabrielle Cadwell with Keaton Allmon, an Bornhoft and Mya Irlmier, Amelia Vetter and Alex Lingle, Caitlin Muhlbauer with Ethan Carter, Sadie Thompson and Joey Greazel, Lily Doyel and Nathan Blankman. These people were chosen by the seniors , who vote for who they want on the court. All of High school students then get to choose for who will be the queen and king. . Before the game starts there is a parade were the homecoming court, sports teams, business etc. drive around town showing their love for the Ikm-manning wolves. The spirit boards are also shown during the parade. Spirit boards are posters that a bunch of kids participate in making to create excitement and express creativity.. Then at 7 the big homecoming game happens this year we’re against Manson Northwest Webster Cougars. I have a good feeling that our Wolves will win with flying colors. A half an hour after the game, the Homecoming dance occurs and lasts until midnight. Homecoming is always a blast, so make sure to join in on the fun activities.
