Colorado Murder by Kim Borosko

Updated: Sep 19, 2018

On August 13, Shannan Watts and her two little girls went missing. At the time Chris Watts, Shannan’s husband, didn’t want to stay at the house and one of Shannan’s friends let him stay there for one night. Then Chris got taken away to go to jail. Shannan was left in a very bad spot when she had died, she was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune lupus. When he was brought in for questioning he gave them two stories one of the stories he gave was that  he suspected Shannan of cheating and having an affair on him. But in reality Chris Watts was the one who was cheating on Shannan with one of his coworkers. The other story is that he walked in on Shannan choking the two younger kids and so in a rage he started choking her. Chris killed his wife and 2 children, he buried his wife in a shallow grave and put the two girls in oil tanks where he had worked. Chris later got charged with five counts of murder in the first degree (he received two additional charges because his daughters are under the age of 12), one count of unlawful termination of a pregnancy in the first degree and three counts of tampering with a deceased human body.
